The Illustrated Craft Panorama: Report on the Artisan Sector in Colombia 2019 is a publication by Artesanías de Colombia that compiles data from over 31,000 individuals dedicated to artisanal work across 29 departments of the country.

The report aims to serve as a baseline for coordinated efforts between institutions such as Artesanías de Colombia, DANE, the Ministry of Culture, and others, to keep updated information on the key actors safeguarding Colombia’s cultural heritage.

It is also intended to be a resource for the identification, documentation, transmission, and sustainability of traditional craft techniques — supporting the work of academia, public and private institutions, and civil society as a whole.
